4 more weeks left for me being pregnant!! My due date is one month from yesterday. Being pregnant has been quite a journey. I honestly am really enjoying it and feel quite blessed to have had a very healthy pregnancy and very awesome friends supporting me in the process.

I have been was able to play all the shows that we have on the calendar…the only hard part is that my protruding belly makes it necessary for me to play my guitar further and further to the side. These days, I am practically playing it behind my back!

I’m sure there will be some very interesting moments to come but I wanted to give you a glimpse of the Top 5 Interesting Moments of My Pregnancy so far…
....
Number 5: Choice of Words
I take our dog for a walk every morning and without fail, there are always neighbors out and about who have the best of intentions to make conversation but end up saying things like…“Wo! You’re huge!” or “Pretty much about to explode there aren’t ya?”
....
I have yet to figure out what to say in response to such comments… “umm, thank you,” or maybe, “yes, you are correct, I am a giant.”

Number 4: The Full Rub Down
There will obviously be people that will rub your belly without asking you. I’m not very bothered by this because it is usually a female giving the rub. When I was nine weeks pregnant, however, a man at church gave me what I call “the full rub down.” Needless to say, I was 9 weeks pregnant so there wasn’t even a bump there at that point. Yet, rub he did! I’m not one of those people that are quick on my toes, so instead of telling him to stop, I just stood there frozen in disbelief that it was happening.

Number 3: Twins....
Lady at Church: “Look at you! Are you having twins?”....
Me: “No, just one.”
Lady at Church: “Are you sure? I think there might be another one hiding in there.”
Me: “No, I’m pretty sure that someone would have caught it if there was another human inside of me.”
Lady at Church: “Well, you might wanna have them check next time.”

Number 2: Birthing Class
Steven and I attended a couple of birthing classes during which we had to watch the infamous video of a child being born. Cool stuff but very gruesome. Right before the instructor started the video she announced that there were cookies, chips, and drinks available and that if anyone wanted to grab some snacks for the video they could. Everyone in the room, except Steven and I, proceeded to indulge themselves in Oreos, Fritos, and juice boxes while the birthing video played. Steven’s response to this was, “It’s not the theatre people!”

Number 1: The Name Game
Friend: “So, do you have a name picked out?”
Me: “Ya, we are thinking of naming her Stevie Lee.”
Friend: “Hmmm, no, I like the name Bella.”
